Hello fellow bloggers, Just got back from the Miami Boat Show. It was fun, Miami is a pretty cool place but it is like NYC, late night prevails, not this Blog guy's forte'. I saw some nice canvas work that gave me some ideas, like glass in the wings of a dodger and reinforced my being a stickler for details. Our work on boats still remains some of the best, it's nice to have the luxury to do a really nice quality job as apposed to quick and OK factory stuff.
The show really struck home that marine work is nice but we need to branch out and find other areas that we can apply our expertise, I know they are out there. Custom furniture has always been something we have been good at but not sure how to market it, I think we will make some things and market later.
I am going to try and find some ares where we might be able to help in government stuff,they always seem to keep on trucking.
